The purpose of this article is to hopefully show the basic differences between Muslims and Non-Muslims, in order for the Muslims to fully understand Non-Muslims, and for the Non-Muslims to fully understand Muslims.

Basic Speech of a Muslim

Muslims know not to speak if what they have to say isn't good, may hurt someones feelings, or might even offend another person.  Which also includes profanity, and bad words in general, as they're considered a sin.

Basic speech of a Non-Muslim

Non-Muslims know to express themselves with their tongue, even if it may be wrong, contain bad words, and possibly offend others, as keeping it inside may be not only be difficult and possibly harmful in the long run to the individual, but also very un-communicative, which of course should always be avoided, as self expression is almost a way of life for many people, since it doesn't limit us in many ways.

Basic actions of a Muslim

If what a Muslim says may teach another person something bad/negative, the Muslim knows to be very careful with such things, as they shouldn't be knows/said/spoken even once.  For instance, if a Muslim teaches another person something negative/bad, the other person may teach others the same, and the same goes for examples- (a persons own actions), as if even one person picks those up from a Muslim, others may pick it up from the one who learned/picked them up, and the Muslim who is responsible will have many, many sins for such a thing.  Muslims are also responsible for the actions of other Non-Muslims, at least up to a point, if/when they can do anything to prevent the bad that may come from it, and out of it.

Basic actions of a Non-Muslim

For Non-Muslims, such things are freedom of knowledge, information, understanding, and the almost endless ability to spread it in any way or form is acceptable, encouraged, and practiced with most.  Not spreading information is considered as holding something back from the rest.  No one peace of information/knowledge is kept away, at least in general, as every individual is responsible for what they do with it, and how they put it to good use, as to avoid limitations of our education as a whole.  When actions are of concern, every person is responsible for themselves, and should not be held accountable for another, as there is Free Will, and we're all adults, which is something one shouldn't forget.

Basic fears of a Muslim

Muslims fear that their right to practice their religion may be taken away.  Muslims choose to be Muslim, to follow Islam, and to abide by the rules/laws of God.  If a Muslim wishes to drink alcohol, take drugs, have a girlfriend, have occasional sex with women that are not his wives, he can, by any and all means, while having the knowledge that he/she will not have anything of paradise, but the exact opposite.  But Muslims choose to follow Islam, and abide by the rules/laws of God, just as they choose to act, and speak, as described above this chapter.
Muslims do not wish to take away the rights and freedoms of Non-Muslims, just as much as they do not wish to have their rights and freedoms to be Muslim and practice Islam,  nor do they wish to force Non-Muslims to become Muslim.

Basic fears of a Non-Muslim

Non-Muslims fear that Muslims/Islam want to take over the world,  kill everyone that decides not to become Muslim, and force Islam on every single individual, and to take away any and all human rights and freedoms which society offers us nowadays, and which we are very much accustomed to.
A great number of Non-Muslims choose to have one Wife/Husband, be very faithful to them, have as many children as they possible can/afford to, abstain from alcohol, do kind and generous deeds on a daily basis.
Non-Muslims would like to take away the rights of practicing ones own religion, as much as they would like to have their rights to practice their own religion/or not to practice any religion, nor do they wish to force Muslims to stop practicing Islam.

Our Fears

It is our right to learn about one another, and to understand that there are people out there who, be them Muslim or Non-Muslim, have their own goal/understanding of how things work, and may in ways that are very wrong wish to take away our freedoms, our rights, and our choices/decisions away from us, by force if necessary.
In general, our fears are very unsound, as the greater percentage (about 75% or higher) is on the side of what is right, while only a small percentage (about 25% or lower) understands very little of freedom, choice, and humanity as a whole, holds its own agenda, and is on the side of wrong.
I believe that by learning about one another, that we can see, and understand that we're human, humane, and not different at all, except by the choices we make for ourselves, that in the end, we will be side by side, peacefully co-existing.

Seek out the truth, and do not stop until you are satisfied !
