‘You must be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man will keep speaking the truth and striving to speak the truth until he will be recorded with Allaah as a siddeeq (speaker of the truth). A man will keep telling lies and striving to tell lies until he is recorded with Allaah as a liar.” (Reported by Muslim)

awraad and adhkaar (dhikr etc.)
One of the du’aa’s which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught us to say in the morning and evening is as follows:
“Reciting ‘Qul Huwa Allaahu Ahad’ and al-Mi’wadhatayn [the last two soorahs of the Qur’aan] three times in the evening and in the morning will protect you against everything.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Da’waat, . It was classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
Sayyid al-Istighfaar (the most superior way of asking for forgiveness), which is:
“Allaahumma Anta Rabbee laa ilaah illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wad’ika maa asta’tu, a’oodhu bika min sharri ma sana’tu aboo’u laka bi ni’matika ‘alayya wa aboo’u laka bi dhanbi, faghfir li fa innahu laa yaghfir al-dhunoob illa anta (O Allaah, you are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise (to You) as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.).” He [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said: Whoever says this during the day, believing in it with certainty, then dies on that day before evening comes, will be one of the people of Paradise, and whoever says it at night, believing in it with certainty, then dies on that night before morning comes, will be one of the people of Paradise.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Da’waat)
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever says morning and evening, Subhaan Allaah wa bihamdih (Glory and praise be to Allaah)’ one hundred times, no one will come on the Day of Resurrection with anything better than him, except for one who said the same as he said, or who said more.’(Narrated by Muslim, al-Dhikr wa’l-Du’aa’)

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “If a person says, every day in the morning and every night in the evening, ‘Bismillaah alladhi laa yadurru ma’a ismihi shay’un fi’l-ardi wa laa fi’l-sama’ wa Huwa al-Samee’ al-‘Aleem (In the name of Allaah with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in heaven, and He is the All-Seeing, the All-Knowing)’, three times, nothing will harm him.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Da’waat, Al-Albaani said in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi, it is hasan saheeh.)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say in the evening:
“Amsayna wa amsaa al-mulku Lillaahi wa’l-hamdu Lillaahi wa laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah… ([the narrator] said: I think he added)… lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. As’aluka khayra ma fi hadhihi’l-laylah wa khayra ma bad’ahaa. Wa a’oodhu bika min sharri hadhihi’l-laylah wa sharri ma bad’ahaa. Wa a’oodhu bika min al-kasal wa soo’ al-kibari wa a’oodhu bika min ‘adhaab al-naar wa ‘adhaab al-qabr (We have reached the evening and at this very time unto Allaah belongs all sovereignty, and all praise is for Allaah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah alone, without any partner. ([the narrator] said: I think he added)…To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. My Lord, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what follows it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what follows it. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from laziness and senility. My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave).” And in the morning he used to say that too: “Asbahnaa wa asbaha al-mulk Lillaah wa’l-hamdu Lillaah…(We have reached the morning and at this very time unto Allaah belongs all sovereignty…)”. (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Daw’aat, classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi)

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught his companions to say in the morning,  “Allaahumma bika asbahnaa wa bika amsaynaa wa bika nayha wa bika namoot wa ilayka al-maseer (O Allaah, by Your leave we have reached the morning and by Your leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die, and unto You is our return),” and to say in the evening, “Allaahumma bika amsaynaa wa bika asbahna wa bika nahya wa bika namoot wa ilayka al-nushoor (O Allaah, by Your leave we have reached the evening and by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we live and die, and unto You is our resurrection).” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Da’waat, classed as saheeh by al-Albaani)

He taught one of his companions to say: “Allaahumma ‘aalim al-ghaybi wa’l-shahaadah, faatir al-samawaati wa’l-ard, Rabba kulli shay’in wa maleekahu, ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill anta, a’oodhu bika min sharri nafsi wa min sharri’l-shaytaan wa sharakihi (O Allaah, knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there none has the right to be worshipped except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self and from the evil of the Shaytaan and his tricks).” He said: “Say this in the morning and in the evening, and when you go to your bed.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, al-Da’waat; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) never missed reciting these du’aa’s in the evening and in the morning:
“Allaahumma inni as’aluka al-‘aafiyah fi’l-dunya wa’l-aakhirah. Allaahumma inni as’aluka al-‘afw wa’l-‘aafiyah fi deeni wa dunyaaya wa ahli wa maali. Allaahumma astur ‘awrati [‘Uthmaan said, ‘awraati] wa aamin raw’aati. Allaahumma  ihfazni min bayna yadayya wa min khalfi wa ‘an yameeni wa ‘an shimaali wa min fawqi wa a’oodhu bi ‘azamatika an ughtaala min tahti (O Allaah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allaah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and my family and my wealth. O Allaah, conceal my faults and keep me safe from the things that I fear. O Allaah, protect me from the front and from behind, and on my right and on my left and from above, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below me [being swallowed up by the earth]).” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, al-Adab. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood)

Similarly he said: “ ‘Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min al-kufri wa’l-faqri. Allaahumma inni a’oodhi bika min ‘adhaab al-qabri. Laa ilaaha illa anta (O Allaah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allaah, I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You).’ Repeat this three times in the morning and three times in the evening” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, al-Adab . Al-Albaani said in Saheeh Sunan Abi Dawood, its isnaad is hasan.)

And he said: “Subhaan Allaah wa bi hamdihi ‘adada khalqihi wa ridaa nafsihi wazinata ‘arshihi wa midaada kalimaatihi (Glory be to Allaah and praise be to Him (as great as) the number of His creatures, the extent of His satisfaction, the weight of His domain and the ink (needed to write down His countless) signs (of presence, omnipotence and grace)).” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Dhikr wa’l-Istighfaar. This is to be said in the morning).

It was narrated in al-Saheehayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No tiredness, exhaustion, worry, grief, distress or harm befalls a believer in this world, not even a thorn that pricks him, but Allaah expiates some of his sins thereby.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Muslim).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “An adulterer, at the time he is committing illegal sexual intercourse is not a believer; and a drinker, at the time he imbibes an alcoholic drink is not a believer; and a thief, at the time of stealing, is not a believer. And a robber  who robs (takes illegally something by force) while the people are looking at him, is not a believer at the time he is robbing (taking).” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): ‘Allaah has decreed for every son of Adam his share of zinaa, and there is no way to escape from it. The zinaa of the eye is a glance, the zinaa of the tongue is speaking, and the zinaa of the mind is wishing and hoping; then the private part either acts upon this or it does not.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, Muslim

It was narrated in a hadeeth from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Receive (teaching) from me, receive (teaching) from me. Allaah has ordained a way for those (women). When an unmarried male commits adultery with an unmarried female, (they should receive) one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. And in the case of a married male committing adultery with a married female, they shall receive one hundred lashes and be stoned to death.” Narrated by Muslim, al-Hudood

Imaam Ahmad (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: I do not know of any sin after murder that is worse than zina, and he quoted as evidence the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood who said: “O Messenger of Allaah, which sin is the worst?” He said, “Setting up a rival to Allaah when He is the One Who created you.” [‘Abd-Allaah] said: “Then what?” He said, “Killing your child for fear that he may eat with you.” [‘Abd-Allaah] said, “Then what?” He said, “Committing adultery with your neighbour’s wife.”

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood said: “I asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), ‘Which sin is worst in the sight of Allaah?’ He said, ‘To make any rival to Allaah, when He has created you.’ I asked, ‘Then what?’ He said, ‘To kill your child for fear that he will eat with you.’ I asked, ‘Then what?’ He said, ‘To commit zinaa with the wife of your neighbour.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari,Muslim).

A) Narrated 'Aishah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhaa]: The Prophet [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said, "The most hated person to Allâh is the one who is most quarrelsome of the opponents." [Sahih Al-Bukhâri].

(B) Narrated Abu Umâmah [radhi-yAllâhu 'anhu]: Allâh's Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam] said: "(a) I guarantee a home in Paradise for a person who gives up arguments and disputes even if he is on the truth. (b) And [I (also) guarantee] a home in the middle of Paradise for a person who gives up lying (false statements) even while joking. (c) And [I (also) guarantee] a home in the highest part of Paradise for a person who has a high standard of character."(This Hadith is quoted by Abu Dâwûd, At-Tirmidhi, An-Nasa'i and Ibn Mâjah)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The child goes to the owner of the bed and the adulterer gets nothing but the stones (despair, i.e., to be stoned to death).” (Agreed upon. Al-Bukhaari,Muslim)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Train your children to pray when they are seven years old, and smack them if they do not do so when they are ten, and separate them in their beds.” Narrated by Abu Dawood

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever dies knowing that there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah shall enter Paradise." (Recorded by Muslim).

the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "No one meets Allaah with the testimony that there is none worthy of worship but Allaah and I am the Messenger of Allaah, and he has no doubt about hat statement, except that he will enter Paradise." (Recorded by Muslim.)

The Prophet (peace be upon his) said, "No one bears testimony to there being no one worth of worship save Allaah, sincerely from his heart, except that Allaah makes the Hell-fire forbidden for him." (Recorded by al-Bukharee and Muslim.)

And the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam added, "Allaah has forbidden for the Hell-fire anyone who says, 'There is no one worthy of worship except Allaah,' and say so desiring the face [and pleasure] of Allaah." (Recorded by Muslim).

the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam added, "Allaah has forbidden for the Hell-fire anyone who says, 'There is no one worthy of worship except Allaah,' and say so desiring the face [and pleasure] of Allaah." (Recorded by Muslim).

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever has three characteristics has tasted the sweetness of faith. [The first of these] is that he loves Allaah and His Messenger more than he loves anyone else ... " (Recorded by al-Bukharee and Muslim.).

the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam made this point even clearer when he said, "Whoever says there is no one worthy of worship except Allaah and denies whatever is worshipped besides Allaah, then his wealth and blood are protected and his accounting will be with Allaah." (Recorded by Muslim).

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "A man spends a long time doing the deeds of the people of Paradise and then he ends his deeds with the deeds of the people of the Hell-fire. And a man spends a long time doing the deeds of the people of the Hell-fire and then he ends his deeds with the deeds of the people of Paradise." (Recorded by Muslim)

the Prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam said, "By the One whom there is no other God, one of you does the actions of Paradise until there is just a handspan between him and Paradise and then the book [preordainment] overtakes him and he does the actions of the people of Hell and he enters into it" (Recorded by al-Bukharee and Muslim.)

“Whoever accepts Islam purely for God will not be held to account, but one who does so for some other reason will be accountable for the time before Islam and after.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The Pen has been lifted from three: from the child until he reaches puberty, from the sleeper until he wakes up, and from the one who has lost his mind until he recovers.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood,).

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There are three (persons) whose actions are not recorded: a sleeper till he awakes, a boy till he reaches puberty, and a lunatic till he comes to reason. (Abu Dawud)

It is narrated in Saheeh Muslim , that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever goes to a fortuneteller and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty days.”

Narrated Aisha: The Prophet said, "All drinks that produce intoxication are Haram (forbidden to drink). [Bukhari]
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbaas reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw a gold ring on a man’s hand. He took it off and threw it aside, saying, "Would any of you take a burning coal and hold it in his hand?" When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had gone away, someone said to the man, "Take your ring and benefit from it (i.e., sell it)." He said, "No, by Allaah, I will not take it after the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) has thrown it away." (reported by Muslim).

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al’Aas reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever of my ummah wears gold and dies wearing it, Allaah will deny him the gold of Paradise. Whoever of my ummah wears silk and dies wearing it, Allaah will deny him the silk of Paradise." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad).

This prohibition applies to men only, not to women, as ‘Ali, may Allaah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took a piece of silk in his right hand and a piece of gold in his left, and said: "These are forbidden for the males of my ummah." (reported by al-Nisaa’i and Abu Dawud).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also said: "Wearing silk and gold is permitted for the women of my ummah and prohibited for the males." (Reported by Imaam Ahmad
Wearing silk is forbidden for men
The scholars are agreed that it is permissible for women to wear and use pure silk, and that it is haraam for men to do so, because of the hadeeth of ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took a piece of silk in his right hand and a piece of gold in his left, held them aloft and said: “These are haraam for the males of my ummah and permitted for the females.” (Reported by Ibn Maajah,).

Abu Moosa (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my ummah and forbidden for the males.” Indeed, a stern warning has been narrated concerning this matter, as was reported by al-Bukhaari  and Muslim  in the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both), who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Silk is only worn in this world by the one who will have no share of the pleasure of the Hereafter.” Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.” (Reported by al-Bukhaari)

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Asma, daughter of AbuBakr, entered upon the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to her face and hands. (Abu Dawud)

Abu Dawud . Narrated Aisha, Umm al-Mu'minin "The Messenger of Allah said, 'Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached puberty unless she wears a khimar'.
" Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Asma, daughter of AbuBakr, entered upon the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to her face and hands. (Abu Dawud)

"If Allah wants to favor someone, He grants him comprehension (understanding) of this religion." [Sahih Bukhari)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) encouraged marrying women who are religiously committed, as he said: “Women may be married for four things: their wealth, their lineage, their beauty and their religious commitment. Choose the one who is religiously-committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust (i.e., may your prosper).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari; Muslim.
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: It was said to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): Which of women is best? He said: “The one who makes (her husband) happy when he looks at her, obeys him when he tells her to do something, and does not disobey him with regard to herself or her wealth in a way that he dislikes.”Narrated by al-Nasaa’i ; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i.

“If a woman prays her five (daily prayers), fasts her month (Ramadaan), guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it will be said to her: Enter Paradise by whichever of the gates of Paradise you wish.” Narrated by Ahmad  and others; classed as hasan by al-Albaani because of another report in Saheeh al-Targheeb, as stated by al-Arna’oot in Takhreej al-Musnad.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not safe from his evil actions.” (Reported by Muslim).

‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood said: “I asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), ‘Which sin is worst in the sight of Allaah?’ He said, ‘To make any rival to Allaah, when He has created you.’ I asked, ‘Then what?’ He said, ‘To kill your child for fear that he will eat with you.’ I asked, ‘Then what?’ He said, ‘To commit zinaa with the wife of your neighbour.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari; Muslim).

"The Angel Gabriel kept advising me concerning the neighbor until I thought he was going to inherit [from his neighbor]." [al-Bukhârî, Muslim]

“The first of the Wahy (Revelation) that came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was seeing true dreams; he never saw any dream but it came true like the break of day. Then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go into seclusion in the cave of Hiraa’ where he would worship Allaah continuously for many nights, until he went back to see his family to collect more provisions. He would go back to Khadeejah, and take provisions with him for a similar number of nights. (This went on) until the truth came to him when he was in the cave of Hiraa’. The angels came to him and said, ‘Read!’ He said, ‘I am not a reader.’ He [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said: he embraced me and squeezed me so hard that I almost could bear it no longer, then he released me and said, ‘Read!’ I said, I am not a reader.’ Then he embraced me a second time and squeezed me so hard that I almost could bear it no longer, then he released me and said, ‘Read!’ I said, I am not a reader.’ Then he embraced me a third time and squeezed me so hard that I almost could bear it no longer, then he released me and said, ‘Read! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists). He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.’ [al-‘Alaq 96:1-3 – interpretation of the meaning]. Then the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came back with (the Revelation) and with his heart pounding wildly.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, ; Muslim, ).

3.     It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that al-Haarith ibn Hishaam (may Allaah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “O Messenger of Allaah, how does the Revelation come to you?” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Sometimes it comes to me like the ringing of a bell, which is the hardest of all, then it passes once I have grasped what is said. And sometimes the angel comes to me in the form of a man and speaks to me, and I grasp what he says…” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, ).
 4.     The lengthy hadeeth about Jibreel, when he came in the form of a man, a stranger, and sat down with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and asked him about Islam, Eemaan (faith) and Ihsaan (goodness, perfection). The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) answered his questions, knowing that he was Jibreel. When he had finished asking his questions and had gone away, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told his companions that this was Jibreel, who had come to teach them their religion. See Saheeh al-Bukhaari, ; Muslim,
 5.     The reports about the Israa’ and Mi’raaj (Prophet’s night journey from Makkah to Jerusalem, and ascent from Jerusalem into the seven heavens). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked Jibreel questions, and Jibreel answered him. See Saheeh al-Bukhaari,; Muslim,, and the ahaadeeth which tell the story of the Israa’ and Mi’raaj.
 6.     There are also many ahaadeeth in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) says, “Jibreel came to me and said…”, such as the hadeeth in which he (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said, ‘Whoever among your ummah (nation) dies not  associating anything with Allaah, will enter Paradise.’ I said, ‘Even if he does such and such?’ He said, ‘Yes.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari,; Muslim)

When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came back from (the battle of) al-Khandaq, he and his companions put down their weapons and washed themselves. Jibreel came to him with his head covered with dust and said, “You have put down your weapons! By Allaah, I have not put down mine.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Where to?” He said, “Over there” – and pointed towards Bani Qurayzah. So the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) set out [to resume the campaign]. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, Muslim).

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Allah's Apostle said, "I have been given five things which were not given to any amongst the Prophets before me. These are: 1. Allah made me victorious by awe (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. 2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum. Therefore my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due. 3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me (and was not made so for anyone else). 4. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation exclusively but I have been sent to all mankind. 5. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection.) (Bukhari)

Qatada narrated it on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: He who forgets the prayer, or he slept (and it was omitted), its expiation is this only that he should observe it when he remembers it.[Muslim]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps and misses it, the expiation for this sin is to pray it when he remembers it.” (Narrated by Muslim, al-Masaajid wa Mawaadi’ al-Salaah The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stated repeatedly that: "Every newly-invented thing is a bid'ah (innovation), every bid'ah is a going astray, and every going astray will be in the Fire." (Reported by al-Nisaa'i in al-Sunan, Salaat al-'Eedayn, Baab kayfa al-Khutbah). Reports with the same meaning were narrated via Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) by Ahmad, via al-'Irbaad ibn Saariyah by Abu Dawud and via Ibn Mas'ood (may Allaah be pleased with him) by Ibn Maajah.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say, when beginning a khutbah (sermon): "… The best of speech is the Book of Allaah and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst of things are those which are newly-invented, and every innovation is a going astray…" (reported by Muslim

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stated that whoever innovates something new in the deen (religion) will have his deed rejected, and Allaah will not accept it, as is stated in the hadeeth narrated by 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her), who said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'Whoever innovates something in this matter of ours that is not a part of it will have it rejected.'" (Reported by al-Bukhaari).
