Garry Wise from Wise Law
In mid 2008 i needed a very good Toronto Family Lawyer, i had gone to a few, and spoken to some on the phone. It seemed as if they weren't really on my side, and that the law stated that i was in a lose-lose situation, at least that's what i was able to understand from speaking with them.
I searched Google for a Toronto Family Lawyer and found Garry Wise. I called to make an appointment and meanwhile Garry Wise returned all of my calls as soon as possible, and was very courteous and polite. From the picture on his website i could tell that this was a good person, but things were slightly different than i imagined once i met Garry Wise.
The day came when i went to his office, and Garry called me to say that he'd be there in 10 minutes. He finally came, partially out of breath as he did hurry so i wouldn't have to wait long. My mother was with me at the time, so we went into his office together, right before Garry Wise asked "Is this your wife?" followed by "I had to ask because if i'm to be your lawyer, i can't see her" as he had to be sure.
When we finally sat down, Garry Wise asked me many questions, to understand the exact situation and what needs to be done. I noticed right away that he was unlike all the lawyers who i had spoken with, prior to seeing him. It didn't appear that he was on the side of my ex wife, but instead he told me how things are based on what i told him, which was somewhat final. I asked him a few questions out of consern, and Garry Wise responded with "Why would you have to do anything besides that"!. I was shocked, it's as if he said something no other lawyer has ever said;

Not only did Garry Wise protect me from a lot of things that could go wrong by asking me all the right questions and correcting me when i made mistakes with my requests and suggestions, but he also didn't allow me to hurry, in order to save me from making gigantic mistakes. If he wasn't as Kind, and Dedicated, i would have made big mistakes that may not have been repairable.
